Plymouth Marine Laboratory (PML) has been contracted by ECMWF as part of the Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S) Marine project, to develop a European focused Marine, Coastal and Fisheries Sectoral Information System (SIS) service, with partners from Telespazio VEGA UK, AZTI, CSIC, HCMR and PML Applications.

The service will assist stakeholders to analyse climate change adaption strategies in the following areas: Coastal Eutrophication, Fisheries/Aquaculture, Marine Spatial Planning, Natural Capital Accounting. All data provided through the C3S will be free of charge.

As part of this project, the team is undertaking a survey to understand the needs and requirements of stakeholders. The survey results will contribute to the set of recommendations to be followed and will help drive future C3S development.
